You ARE worthy of being heard and supported!

What to expect in Therapy with me

Multi-State Licensed:

Missouri, Massachusetts, Illinois, Nevada & Arizona

I’m glad you are here!

You’re here because:

  • You’ve experienced something traumatic in your lifetime or something that has impacted your life enough to cause distress

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge

  • Saying yes when you want to say no

  • Feeling like you are walking on egg shells

  • Managing everyone else’s emotions and needs while ignoring your own

  • Wondering why certain things still trigger such big reactions even if you’ve worked on them in therapy before

  • You struggle to practice self-care (or don’t know what that looks like)

You might not name it as trauma, but you feel it in your body and relationships.

In our work together, you’ll find a calm, nonjudgmental space to:

  • Understand how survival patterns like people-pleasing or shutdown developed in the first place

  • Make sense of your emotional responses instead of feeling hijacked by them

  • Practice feeling safe, supported, and connected at a pace that honors your nervous system

I use a blend of EMDR, mindfulness, and polyvagal-informed therapy to support this process. That might include:

  • Tracking what’s happening in your body, not just your thoughts

  • Reprocessing painful memories or beliefs that still feel “stuck”

  • Learning tools to regulate your nervous system in real time

  • Building the internal safety you need to show up more fully in your life and relationships

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a starting place, and a therapist who gets it.

Specialties & Methods

  • Trauma/PTSD-CPTSD

Vulnerable work

Therapy is vulnerable work and I don’t take that lightly.

Clients describe me as warm, honest, and grounded. I show up with transparency and without judgment, so you can show up as you are, messy, uncertain, in progress. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear “goal” to get started.

My approach is collaborative, not forceful.

I’ll meet you exactly where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, not some treatment plan or pressure to “go deep” before you’re ready. Your comfort and consent matter in every part of the process.

My role isn’t to push you, it’s to walk alongside you.

This is your journey and I am here to:

To hold space. To offer insight. And to support your healing, one step at a time.

This is YOUR therapy -

I believe in meeting clients where they are (literally and figuratively). This is your therapy and we will only go as far or quickly as you are ready to.
