Trauma Therapy For

  • Childhood trauma

  • Adult children of Emotionally Immature Parents

  • Relationship trauma

  • Environmental trauma

You don’t have to keep bracing for the worst. Trauma-informed therapy can help you feel calm in your body and connected in your relationships.

With trauma-informed therapy, you start to notice space where there used to be tension. Old patterns, shaped by childhood wounds, lose their grip. You stop reacting from a place of fear or guilt, especially in relationships that once felt impossible to navigate. You learn to set boundaries without second-guessing yourself or shrinking to keep the peace. The past still exists, but it’s not running the show. You feel more rooted, more whole. And when challenges come up, you meet them with clarity, not collapse.

Whether through talk therapy, EMDR, polyvagal theory, Safe & Sound Protocol, or other methods, I am here for you!

FAQs

Q: How long does it take?

A: A great question with no clear answer. Sessions are 50-mins and typically weekly or biweekly. The healing timeline depends on how impactful the issues are to you, how many other stressors are taking over your energy/headspace, how vulnerable you are able to be in sessions, and more. There is no clear timeline any therapist can give, but my goal is to first provide regulation skills to help decrease the intensity of what you are experiencing.

Q: What types of trauma-informed therapy is used?

A: I adapt the method used based on what you are comfortable with. My first priority is to always meet each client where they are in their healing journey. We can discuss all the methods, but talk therapy is typically what we begin with before diving deeper with other methods such as EMDR.
